Priority Issues
We moved here for the views, open space, and safety of the community. I'll work to maintain those qualities.
01
Open space & outdoor activities
I’ve been involved with the OV Path Forward and the OV Trails Connect projects. I fully support these plans moving ahead. The Town did a fantastic job reaching out to Oro Valley residents, and that feedback is the foundation of the new 10-year plan.
02
Safety in our community
Oro Valley residents are proud to be “the safest community in Arizona,” and I believe we should keep it that way. I fully support Police Chief Kara Riley, the department, and their new Police Department building.
03
Embrace technology
I’m definitely in favor of investing in technology that makes us more efficient and improves how we connect with Oro Valley residents. We just need to make sure the cost makes sense for the benefit we receive.
04
Spend
responsibly
We must prioritize our capital spending on projects that either save us money in the long run (like the new irrigation for the El Con golf courses) or are solid, long-term investments (like the new Police Building, which reduces crowding in our City Hall area).
